Making your thalassotherapy cure a success

Thalassotherapy refers to the simultaneous use, for preventive or curative purposes, and under medical supervision, of all the benefits the sea has to offer: sea water, seaweed, sea mud, the climate, the sand and any other substances extracted from the sea ...

Some practical details...
• We provide you with the bathrobe (changed every day) and as many towels as you require.
• Will you be staying at the Hôtel Atalante? For your comfort, the direct link with the thalassotherapy centre means you can move around wearing your cosy bathrobes.
• The bathing cap (mandatory in the pools) and the sandals are provided free upon arrival for any programme of at least two days.
• For your comfort, bring 2 swimsuits (on sale in the centre).
• You can eat on site every lunchtime at Loofa Bar, which faces due south with a terrace.
• You can replace the collective care provided during your holiday with individual marine hydrotherapy treatments only, for a supplement of € 16* per treatment.

Our cures last at least 5 days in order to be as effective as possible. With a number of treatments between 18 and 24 per week, you will enjoy the long-lasting benefits of the seawater.

Before your cure ...
The medical check-up prior to thalassotherapy treatment costs € 25* (not reimbursed by Social Security), regardless of the number of treatments. A certificate from your doctor can replace this check-up, however.

For the "Back and body harmony" and "Blissful young mother" programmes, the medical examination must be conducted by a doctor from the centre (€ 25*).
There are also a few rare contraindications for this therapy: cardiovascular disease (poorly controlled hypertension, heart failure, etc.), some progressive infectious diseases, general or localised (e.g. dermatitis), cancerous diseases in acute phases of treatment, major psychiatric disorders, general immunological deficiencies.
