The application OF MARINE MUD :
This comprises a cataplasm of natural sedimentary mud, made up of a mixture of alluviums, plankton, algae, mineral salts and trace elements. Continuous heat is maintained during this treatment by using infra-red lamps.
Note that the marine mud (and also the algae) concentrates the active principles of the elements contained in seawater up to 50,000 times... A figure which by justifies a thalassotherapy holiday all by itself !
But at La Baule-les-Pins we wanted to go even further to offer you the best from the sea. This is why we use 44 mixtures of seaweed and a natural marine mud which will set the standards for the future :
- Special Laminaria for health,
- Fucus for the circulation and slimming,
- Laminaria Lithothamium in rheumatology,
- our Special for young mums based on spirulina and laminaria, a product which is exclusive to our Centre,
- ...and what’s more, a special cold mixture for slimming and circulation (used only on the legs)
Our products contain the maximum concentrations of algae and are guaranteed. They come from the richest and purest areas of northern Brittany; the marine mud is extracted from the region of Moutiers en Retz.
